But one day, he lost his home and his owner.
The amazing Maomi was forced onto the streets, where his hard life as a stray began.
Life doesn't always go smoothly, and neither does a cat's life.
Maomi was adopted, then abandoned again.
He was even sent to a terrible animal shelter for strays!
An old fox who liked rummaging through garbage cans for cigarette butts gave him a piece of advice.
If he could beat One-Eye, the street's cat tyrant, he could become the new boss of the streets.
Then he could live a life free of hunger and worry.
With Old Fox's help, the anxious Maomi began an intensive training plan to become a tough cat.
Can he beat One-Eye?
And will he be able to find a new life?
