Song Yuan had the worst luck when she was eighteen.
Her bank card was frozen, her phone suddenly lost service, and she had only a few bills in her pocket. She'd run away from home, only to end up in some unknown little town, where even the train station was so run-down it looked like a dump.
A terrible start. She was close to tears.
Then, on the very day her luck hit rock bottom, a bar singer with bright red wolf-cut hair and speakers blaring at his feet came over to talk to her with overwhelming enthusiasm.
"Hey, are you here on vacation? F City is absolutely gorgeous, especially famous for its historic sites. There are so many fascinating stories about its history, you couldn't count them all on one hand..."
Song Yuan stared at him blankly. "So?"
"So," the singer said, leaning in with all the familiarity of an old friend and holding up a finger, "I'm guessing you need a local guide to show you around. How about me? I'll be with you the whole time, keeping you company. You get the best value for the least money. Just 250 a day..."
Song Yuan: "..."
Did she really look like a sucker?
As it turned out, Song Yuan really was that sucker.
She spent nearly a thousand and bought herself an entire summer.
And a guitarist named Lu Yan, along with the musical dream she'd long since forgotten.
–
Those summer days were like freshly opened orange sparkling wine, fizzing and bubbling, impossible to resist.
Lu Yan rode his motorcycle with her along the coastal highway to chase the blue-hour sunset. Even at three in the morning, they had to listen to the waves.
Song Yuan held his guitar and hummed the lyrical melodies she'd just written, spending her days in a corner of the bar, drinking orange juice and writing sheet music.
They kissed in a rented room thick with the smell of alcohol.
He buried his face in the hollow of her neck.
"Song Yuan, please don't go."
"And don't... forget me."
On the brightest starry night, surrounded by a heap of fallen cans, they lay side by side on the beach, humming "Libidream" by Sunset Rollercoaster together.
"I live in the libidream, could never wake."
I live in Libidream, and I'll never wake up.

/A rock-loving singer sang her a season of love songs. It was a Libidream she would never forget.

Theme: Believe that anything can happen
Love and dreams once shone in that town. But after the dream is over, people still have to return to the ordinary world. Looking back at that period of time in the years to come, it just becomes a little dampness in my heart that can never be wiped clean.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I cried
