I Have Two Corpses

Blurb:

I accidentally found a corpse hidden in the ceiling. It looked exactly like me.

Every morning when I woke up, I could see it.

Strange.

Could I be the fake one?

*

Brother Bo was the kindest person to me, so I told him about it. He only kissed my forehead and gently said it was just a dream.

But ever since I saw that corpse, all kinds of strange things have been happening to me.

Every few days, another part of the corpse in the ceiling disappears.

First its eyeballs vanished without explanation, then its arms were severed in two, and later its legs and head were gone...

Everything about it seemed perfectly normal, yet deeply unsettling.

Until the night of the seventh day of the first lunar month, when I discovered Brother Bo's secret in the basement...
