The Absolute Saint: Starting by Slaughtering Heretics

Xue Xuehui's account:

My mother created me because she wanted to study the emotions that might arise between teenage boys and girls when they were driven to desperation. Then she dropped me into a simulation game with multiple playthroughs.

On my first playthrough, I was born under a curse into an aristocratic family in Heian-kyo. The servants all whispered behind my back that I was a harbinger of doom.

Two years later, my little brother was born. He was even more cursed than I was, nearly being buried alive as soon as he arrived.

During the ten years I was sent to the countryside to recuperate, I discovered that aberrant creatures called cursed spirits existed in this world. Then, to my astonishment, I learned that my tears could purify them.

I cried as I reduced every cursed spirit to ash.

Meanwhile, my little brother barely managed to survive into adulthood. He grew up deranged and extreme. He found a renowned doctor to treat him, then flew into a rage and killed the doctor when the treatment showed no results.

He became an aberrant creature called a demon, and the first thing he did was come to eat me.

As I lay dying, I looked at his ugly face and tears spilled from my eyes against my will.

I cradled my brother's head and lamented, "A worthless piece of trash like you, stupid and wicked, a plague on everyone around you, still wants to live forever? Who else could ever love you but me?"

I cried as I crushed his head.

That was the beginning of my becoming a saint.

On my Nth playthrough, I was born into modern society. There were no demons here, but curses and all kinds of strange creatures still existed. This world overrun by aberrations made me so sad.

Luckily, though I died young in my previous playthroughs, the organization I founded and continually improved upon, which currently consists of me alone, has passed down its name for a thousand years. It has become an unspeakable terror feared by every aberration.

The Holy Church.

[I govern death, I govern life. What I wound, I heal.

None can escape my palm. None can hide from my gaze.

Rest in my hands.]

A little scene:

Mother: A thousand years have passed. Have you formed a heart-wrenchingly deep bond with them yet?

Xue Xuehui: I mashed them into bean paste, Mother!

Mother: ???
