How Can I Collect Special CGs If I Don't Fake My Death?

A company's new romance simulation game, The Moon's Cage: Secret Pact~Mafia Arc, was slammed and pulled from sale as soon as it launched. To figure out what had gone wrong, the company hired the S-rank game reviewer Wu Tiao Wanglai, holding back tears.

Set in the modern city of Yokohama, the game has players take on the role of a down-and-out heiress who suddenly inherits a huge fortune from a distant relative. On her way to Yokohama to claim the inheritance, she meets several male leads with different personalities. As she gradually uncovers the secrets behind the inheritance, a tender young romance begins to blossom...

Wanglai: I'm a man. Do I still have to blossom?

System: You do.

Wanglai: The script isn't finished, so I have to play the heroine and fill in the plot and worldbuilding too... right?

System: That's right.

Wanglai: 🖕🏻

System: 💍👄

A damp basement, bloodstained shackles, cold fingers lifting his chin.

At the end of the road.

The tenderness of the past is gone. The gloomy, handsome young man lets out a quiet laugh. "If the whereabouts of the inheritance remain unknown, I'm afraid I won't be able to protect you anymore."

"--Does that swindler you're sheltering really not know what will happen to you?"

Wu Tiao Wanglai, who only casually opened an abandoned save file: ...

I see. He's beginning to understand everything.

#This stupid game doesn't have a single happy ending option

#Escape death by faking your death, and carve out a way to survive 👼🏻

#Even the most wicked man will behave after a couple doses of love potion

* Has elements of otome games, gal games, and BL games. Lots of cross-dressing, plenty of bad endings involving fake deaths, melodramatic twists, a harem of admirers, dark and twisted themes, beautiful but tragic characters, and real and fake knives all thrown together. The protagonist is an emotionless wage worker who gets the job done for money.

* Pure self-indulgence, written for my personal tastes. If you feel uncomfortable while reading, please stop at once. Taking a step back opens up a whole new world.

Sorry for changing the synopsis! I couldn't get inspired by the old ideas, so writing about faking one's death and the System feels more comfortable. The new and old versions share some elements, and the protagonist is still a local of Type-Moon.

Theme: Take things easy, and everything will go smoothly
