Hello, everyone. I'm Asuka Ruzuki.
I aspire to become a manga artist.
I'm currently looking for inspiration among the people around me for a baseball manga, and I'm in the middle of an absolutely fantastic inspiration-gathering phase!
When my brother got a special recruitment offer from Teito's baseball team and invited me to join the following year, I turned him down.
That's because my brother is the sort of character who lives as an utterly unremarkable, deadpan straight man in a powerhouse baseball program.
He can only stand on the sidelines and explain things while the protagonist shines. (A faint sigh) (Shakes head with hands behind back)
Sengoku Kyoro: Who needs your pity?! Go draw! (Wielding a pointer)

After meeting a number of characters, including a cool-faced, warm-hearted blond delinquent, a catlike otaku who speaks in cryptic bursts, and a gloomy senior with a round face,
I finally found the male lead of my manga: Kaname Kei.
Character setting: Split personality plus amnesia. How trendy.
Character design: Downturned eyes and a beauty mark beneath one eye. So handsome.
Voice actor: Mamoru Miyano. Distinctive.
Identity: An utterly ordinary player on the baseball team at the public Kotesashi High School. Classic as can be.
A protagonist through and through.
And so, my manga, Forgotten Baseball, began serialization in grand style!

As baseball manga based on real life grew wildly popular, Asuka Ruzuki had something to say:
Please don't bribe manga artists in hopes of getting more screen time in their manga.
But everyone wanted more from the manga artist than that.

A baseball romantic comedy.
The protagonist is the younger sister of Senior Sengoku. She uses her mother's surname. The Sengoku family is based on Eko-sensei's earlier work, Cicadas on Stage, with some original additions.
There will be some Bakuman elements, but the story still takes place in Oblivion Battery.
I might revise it again. Anyway, it's a story about playing baseball.
Theme: Never give up on your dreams.
