[DC + HP] I Swear I’m Not Eating Substitutes in Gotham

After helping the Chosen One protect Hogwarts and defeat Voldemort, Cho Chang decided to leave the wizarding world.

She crossed the ocean to start a new career and even found new love, but it seemed no one took her seriously.

"I really am living a new life now," said Cho Chang, aka former outstanding Hogwarts graduate and current beloved citizen of Gotham.

"Of course she is. She's my girlfriend, and we're very happy together," said Bruce Wayne, aka Batman, wearing the face of Gotham's sweetheart, who bore a striking resemblance to Cho Chang's late boyfriend.

A few things to know before reading:

1. This is not a melodramatic replacement-romance story about youthful angst. It's just a fun premise. Batman won't be anyone's substitute, and Cho Chang won't date someone as a substitute.

2. I got this idea because this premise always made me laugh when I came across it in DC and Harry Potter crossovers.

The known facts are that Cho Chang's ex-boyfriend before her last one, Cedric, was played by the same actor as the Batman in the film series, and that Cho eventually left the wizarding world and married a Muggle. Some readers who regretted Cho's ending said she married a Muggle who looked like Cedric and left the wizarding world for good. The original story never said that!

And so this idea was born!

3. The only shared premise is that Cedric and Bruce Wayne look alike. This story does not take place in the world of The Batman.

Note: This is an idea-driven story written for love. If you enjoy it, please leave a comment!

If nobody reads it, I might delete it!
