When the bones and flesh of the story are full, what is needed in the end is a confession that can penetrate all the noise and reach straight to the soul.

Chen Sixiu - the lamp holder who was lost in watching
Chen Sixiu always thought that he was the bystander who held the lamp and saw all the emotional puzzles with cold eyes. He was proud of himself for being able to see through Ye Zuize's hidden pain, and proud of himself for being able to remain sober in this world of intoxication and wealth.
It wasn't until a certain moment that he suddenly realized that he had entered the depths of the maze without knowing when.
· The moment of collapse: Perhaps it was late at night when he was making routine jokes. Ye Zuize, who was half drunk and half sober, leaned on his shoulder and said vaguely: "Chen Sixiu, without you, I don't know who to perform this play for." At that moment, Chen Sixiu found that he could no longer laugh, and his heart was severely hit by a strange emotion - what he wanted to be was no longer the audience of this play, but the protagonist.
· Core Struggle: His pain stems from "sobriety." He knew very well how deep Ye Zuize's affection for Wen Suyan was, so deep that it was like an instinct engraved in his bones and blood. While he was jealous of the deep affection that belonged to Wen Suyan, he also felt sorry for Ye Zuize's self-exile. He set a rule for himself: "Don't hug a moth that can't see the light." However, he made exceptions for Ye Zuize time and time again, which eventually got him burned.
· Emotional transformation: His feelings for Ye Zuize, from the initial pity of "watching the show" to the companionship of "entering the show", finally evolved into a strong and painful possessive desire. He would suddenly grab Ye Zuize's wrist and say in his ear in a voice that only the two of them could hear: "Ye Zuize, when you were blocking the drink for him, did you ever think that I would also feel sorry for you?"
Ye Zuize——The sea illuminated while watching
Ye Zuize silently sacrificed his life's enthusiasm and desperate courage to that hopeless secret love. He built a lonely sea area where no one could approach, but he didn't know that there was a light that had already illuminated the outline of the shore for him.
· The moment of shaking: When he habitually took off all disguises in front of Chen Sixiu and showed his most tired and embarrassed side, Chen Sixiu did not tease him with jokes as usual, but gently held him in his arms and whispered: "Ye Zuize, you don't have to be so sensible when I'm here." At that moment, cracks appeared for the first time in his solid world.
· Core struggle: He is used to licking his wounds alone in the dark, and believes that "being loved" is a debt that needs to be repaid. He was afraid of being indebted, and even more afraid that he wanted to give half of the position to Chen Sixiu because he was pretending to be someone else. This was unfair and blasphemous to both parties. He would push Chen Sixiu away: "Don't be so nice to me, I can't afford it."
· Emotional transformation: From the beginning, he only sought the "tree hole" comfort in Chen Sixiu, but later he began to be greedy for that unique preference and attention. He would subconsciously look for Chen Sixiu in the crowd, and would be upset because he was teasing others. He belatedly discovered that the glacier named "Wen Suyan" still existed, but beside it, a warm lake that was willing to accept reflections had quietly grown.
Relationship deduction: a three-act play from "Tree Hole" to "Harbor"
With the above profound character core, the evolution of their relationship has a solid foundation. This will not be a simple redemption, but a complex process of two incomplete souls calibrating each other in the dark.
Act One: Secret Symbiosis
Their relationship begins with a dangerous balance: one needs a tree hole, the other volunteers to play it. Chen Sixiu's joking attitude as "the number one CP fan" perfectly concealed his growing desire for exclusivity over Ye Zuize. And Ye Zuize was happy to have such a safe and harmless person to talk to, until he discovered that the way Chen Sixiu looked at him gradually became different from how he looked at others.
Classic scene: In the private bar on the top floor of the casino, Ye Zuize once again got drunk because of Wen Suyan. Chen Sixiu took his wine glass and drank it in one gulp. The bottom of the glass hit the marble countertop with a clear warning sound.
"Ye Zuize, guess what?" Chen Sixiu turned his face and wiped the moist corners of his eyes with his thumb, his voice was smiling, but his eyes were like ice, "I, the number one CP fan, officially lost my fandom today."
"... Why?"
Chen Sixiu leaned forward and approached. The silver chain hanging from the collar of the flowered shirt brushed against Ye Zuize's collarbone, completely enveloping him with the aggressive scent of perfume.
"Because I have fallen in love with the rightful owner."
Act Two: The Fall of Sobriety
The balance was broken, and the two were pulled into each other. Chen Sixiu was tormented between the guilt of "taking advantage of the opportunity" and the uncontrollable love. Ye Zuize is at a loss between the habits of old love and the fear of new love. They began to use "drunkness" as an excuse to conduct some cross-border experiments.
Classic scene: After Chen Sixiu pushed him against the bathroom wall and kissed him again after being "drunk", Ye Zuize grabbed the collar of his floral shirt and asked unsteadily: "Chen Sixiu, are you fucking drunk?"
Chen Sixiu rubbed his temples with the tip of his nose, as if he was infatuated and sighed, and gave the famous answer:
"Ye Zuize, you are the drink that made me drunk."
He licked off the water droplets next to the black earring on Ye Zuize's ear bone, and said hoarsely: "And I'm so drunk that I don't want to wake up."
Act Three: Lighthouse and Return
The turning point was a huge external conflict (such as a family crisis). Ye Zuize was accustomed to bear it alone, but Chen Sixiu intervened in an unquestionable manner and smoothed the storm for him. Ye Zuize finally understood that the "retreat" was self-movation, and the "harbor" was the real warmth that he could rely on.
Classic scene: After the crisis, Ye Zuize found Chen Sixiu, and for the first time took off the black earrings that symbolized silent secret love, and placed them in Chen Sixiu's palm.
"It has been with me for many years," Ye Zuize looked into his eyes and spoke softly, "but now, I don't need a 'retreat'."
He held Chen Sixiu's hand: "I need a harbor."
Chen Sixiu's backhand was clasped with his fingers, and the small earring pierced the palms of both of them, like the final chapter of an old story or the prologue of a new one. His peach blossom eyes were curled up, and he still had the same cynical tone, but his words weighed as much as a thousand pounds:
"Congratulations, Ye Zuize. You have found the most reliable person in the world."
· Chen Sixiu: "They all think that I am the most unreliable dude in Macau, but Ye Zuize, I will let you know that what you have found is the most reliable harbor in the world."
· Ye Zuize: "I used to think that my love was dark and black, until I met you, Chen Sixiu, you taught me that love can also be colorful."
Intention: I don't recognize it.
