Chen Leyao has had a real headache lately.
The little black cat that's clung to her turns out to be her nemesis, Jiang Yu.
By day, he's the aloof campus heartthrob who keeps everyone at arm's length. At night, as a black cat, he tears around her room, doing parkour and partying.
Chen Leyao really doesn't want anything to do with Jiang Yu. After they were accidentally assigned as deskmates at the start of the school year, one of his fangirls posted about her on the campus forum, calling her a country bumpkin. Furious, Chen Leyao fought with her in the comments for three hundred rounds.
After that, Chen Leyao kept her distance from Jiang Yu.
But she never imagined the cat she'd been looking after would transform into a person at the full moon.
The moment Chen Leyao saw Jiang Yu, she blurted out, "Holy crap! (A kind of plant!)"
Jiang Yu has been having a real headache lately too.
As an ancient cat demon, he failed his trial and lost control of his spiritual power, leaving him no choice but to beg for food with his cuteness.
By day, he's the heartthrob adored by the whole school. At night, he's a black cat cuddling up to Chen Leyao. Only by snuggling with her can he gather enough spiritual power to remain human the next day.
He thought he was Chen Leyao's favorite fluffy companion, but he never expected her to give the fox demon next door's tail a five-star review.
Chen Leyao, you little cheating cat!
You've got me and you're still petting other fluffy creatures? Unforgivable!
