My Husband's Inheritance

Younger Man x Older Man, Raising Him

The receiver and his husband were married off for the sake of their families. They put on a show of being a couple, but each lived their own life. Then one day, her husband died in an accident at sea, leaving behind a huge inheritance.

Receiver: Yes! Promotion, riches, and a dead husband! [Rainbow praise]

Just as the receiver, inwardly thrilled but outwardly grieving, was preparing to inherit the estate, the lawyer told him that his husband had an illegitimate son in his teens who was still a minor. His husband had made a will long ago: if the receiver wanted to inherit, he had to raise the boy to adulthood. Otherwise, he couldn't inherit anything.

Receiver: [Clown] The man's dead, and now I have to clean up his mess.

For the sake of the huge inheritance, the receiver had no choice but to raise his dead husband's son: the male lead.

The male lead had been raised away from home since childhood and had a poor relationship with his biological father. Rebellious and defiant, he refused to be controlled. The receiver wasn't exactly mild-tempered either, so the two were at each other's throats every other day.

And somewhere along the way, things started to happen between them.

What follows is the kind of melodramatic plot everyone loves, with lines like, "Why can my dad do it, but I can't?" and even things like funeral-hall play, deliberately having sex in front of his biological father's portrait.
