My Brother's Ex Is My Current Boyfriend

[Playboy bottom vs. pure-hearted top who overthinks everything]

Ji Xunfeng's friend has gone missing.

His friend's disappearance is closely tied to Xu Zhimiao, his ex's ex.

To find his friend, Ji Xunfeng pretends to be a suitor and deliberately gets close to Xu Zhimiao.

After spending some time together, things take a major turn.

The good news: He has successfully gotten close to Xu Zhimiao.

The bad news: Xu Zhimiao wants to sleep with him.

Sleep with me or get lost.

After twenty-six years as a straight man, Ji Xunfeng struggles for a long time, but for the sake of the truth, he eventually chooses the former.

One time leads to a second, then an nth time...

After sleeping together enough times to become familiar with each other, Ji Xunfeng finally uncovers the truth: Xu Zhimiao had nothing to do with his friend's disappearance.

And, to his surprise, he finds that he doesn't mind this kind of relationship with Xu Zhimiao.

Besides, Xu Zhimiao likes him, loves him, and the two are madly in love. Ji Xunfeng thinks he wouldn't mind staying together for good.

Until Xu Zhimiao accidentally discovers the truth about why Ji Xunfeng deliberately approached him.

*

The first time Xu Zhimiao saw Ji Xunfeng, he knew why the man had approached him.

He'd seen photos of his ex's childhood friend.

But Ji Xunfeng was just too good-looking, and Xu Zhimiao was a hopeless pretty-boy chaser. So he pretended not to know, let Ji Xunfeng get close, and successfully got him into bed.

He enjoyed playing the field and knew the two of them were only sharing a bit of pleasure.

How could he possibly tie himself to one tree?

At most, he'd linger beneath one a little longer, enjoy the view, then walk away.

As it happened, Ji Xunfeng hadn't kept his secret identity well hidden, so Xu Zhimiao used that as an excuse to end their relationship.

He thought their brief affair was over, but never imagined Ji Xunfeng would come after him again.

*

Ji Xunfeng thought Xu Zhimiao treated him well because he loved him.

Only later did he learn that Xu Zhimiao was kind to every one of his bedmates.

Right. He was just a bedmate.

He was the one who'd deliberately approached Xu Zhimiao, and he was also the one who couldn't let go.

Theme: Be serious about love.
