A variety of horror-story villains × a green-tea type who toys with people's hearts
World One: Fake Horror Documentary
After accidentally entering an infinite-flow world, Chu Hanqing is invited to film a fake horror documentary called Haunted Mountain Village.
They make it feel real and create terror. Everything goes according to the production crew's plan.
Dimly lit footage, a stormy night, a beautiful youth as enchanting as a spirit, and the eyes of everyone around him following his every move.
Chu Hanqing is thoroughly bored. All the horror is manufactured, and all he has to do is crook a finger to win countless admirers. How dull.
Until an accident happens:
By the river, beneath the night sky, a handsome man gazes at the youth with bestial eyes, consumed by infatuation. He leans in for a kiss, and Chu Hanqing instinctively shoves him away
The male lead, Xiao Jinye, who should have been an excellent swimmer, vanishes beneath the water...
From that day on, the horror is no longer staged, and the fake documentary becomes real:
A blurred gaze in the room, a touch spreading like drizzle. Chu Hanqing weeps as an indescribable thing presses him against the floor slick with water. His collarbones are covered in kiss marks. His eyes are red from crying, and he is overcome with regret:
"It was you..."
World Two: The Mad Scientist
This time, Chu Hanqing becomes a scientist and discovers that he once abandoned a monster.
Its scarlet eyes, serpentine scales, enormous body, and heavy breathing made it impossible to sleep at night.
But the monster disappeared many years ago, so long ago that Chu Hanqing no longer studies science.
Looking to unwind, he and his companions head to a resort. Unaware that beside this scenic lake, a gaze that has blended into human civilization is slowly licking over the youth's beautiful profile.
Strange incidents begin to happen with increasing frequency. People around him keep dying, and the stench of blood grows stronger with each passing day. Chu Hanqing thinks, So what? He doesn't care.
A gorgeous, voluptuous beauty from the East, romantic and flirtatious, toying with people's hearts. Every time someone by his side dies, he meets someone new. But the handsome men who come and go gradually begin to look like the same person
Chu Hanqing is held around the waist by his new lover, unaware that the marks on his fair skin are revealing mottled scales in the moonlight...
World Three: Summoning an Evil God
This time, Chu Hanqing enters a family with a mysterious faith. For generations, they have worshipped Baal, the foremost of the 72 pillars of demons.
This demon god commands thunder and rain and can turn invisible. To gain power, the whole family performs a ritual on stormy nights.
Chu Hanqing thinks nothing of it, unaware that everyone sees his beautiful appearance as the perfect vessel for the god to possess.
On the first day of the ritual, moss spreads across the walls, and things keep disappearing.
On the second day, dark clouds and rumbling thunder linger overhead, while the family cat yowls without stopping.
On the third day, people begin to die, and a bloody shadow falls over the family.
At the very end, in the corridors of a vast Gothic castle, where butterfly-shaped oil lamps flicker, a figure appears and disappears as it enters Chu Hanqing's room:
Thunder roars without end, as if drowning out every hidden thing...
World Four: Underground Creatures
Chu Hanqing joins a research team. For firsthand information on the creatures below ground, his teammates take diving gear into an underground cave.
Just as their oxygen is about to run out, they finally crawl into an open area. Water trickles, and breathing can barely be heard
In the darkness, they see a monster capable of shaking the world. But its leader won't let them live to publish what they found. In the midst of the crisis, Chu Hanqing recalls that these cave-dwelling creatures treasure females above all else.
For the safety of the team and the sake of the research, Chu Hanqing disguises himself as a female and thoroughly fools the dim-witted monster leader.
World Five: The Mountain Monster
While traveling, the group finds the main road blocked and decides to take a smaller route. An empty gas station, phones unable to get a signal, and a terrifying blood-red shadow waiting in the forest.
Not every world is American-style horror. The first one is Chinese-style horror. This story is a full-on indulgence in doting on the protagonist, with a harem-like feel.
