A preview of my next novel: "Marked by My Sister Is a Birthday Gift". Fake sisters, a companion story to "Happy to Be a Mom", with crossover characters.
A ceramic restorer who plays the pig to eat the tiger, a younger Alpha x a frosty, stone-faced CEO, an older Omega
On the night of her eighteenth birthday, Li Chuni gets two birthday gifts: her sister, and a slap from her sister.
When Li Chuni was thirteen, she begged Jiang Qi to adopt her. But after she presented at sixteen, her birth family came to take her back. Jiang Qi held her in an unwilling embrace.
Those two years apart were an immense torment for Li Chuni.
She didn't know that on the night she presented, she had secretly fallen asleep sniffing Jiang Qi's personal belongings. Jiang Qi had seen it, but never said a word.
-
Jiang Qi doesn't like raising kids. They're a nuisance. But she raised one child to adulthood, and on the day she attended that child's coming-of-age ceremony, the two of them got drunk and triggered an estrus. The child completely marked her.
After carrying the baby for ten months, she despised the daughter she gave birth to.
Three years after she last saw Li Chuni, Jiang Qi came home from work one day to find her asleep outside her door, curled up with tears at the corners of her eyes, just like when she was thirteen, using her pitiful appearance to win sympathy.
Jiang Qi sat beside her and lit a cigarette. As the smoke curled upward, Li Chuni dropped the act, snatched the cigarette from her, and stubbed it out. "Sis, can you take me in one more time?"
Jiang Qi revealed the gland on her neck, freshly washed, fragile and scarred. Calmly, she replied, "Take you in, only to let the wolf through the door? Will you take advantage of me again?"
A quiet, capable farmer Alpha with postwar PTSD x a flirtatious, haughty heiress Omega who's tired of being a celebrity
After leaving the Alliance military, Second Lieutenant Li Enluo developed post-traumatic stress disorder.
To escape the people hunting her, she went to a small town, broke ground on a farm, and began a pastoral life.
Now and then, she took odd jobs to earn money: repairing roofs and appliances, unclogging pipes...
She thought life would be peaceful and uneventful.
One day, on her way home from chopping wood, she caught the scent of an Omega in the air.
Following the scent, Li Enluo found a scantily dressed young woman who had fallen into a hunter's trap. She was crying like a kitten, her stubborn little face full of wariness.
Li Enluo had seen the girl on screen before. After thinking it over, she brought her home to treat her injuries.
The next day, the girl's pheromones went haywire. Her delicate body climbed into Li Enluo's bed, exposed her feverish gland, and ordered her, "Mark me, or else I'll..."
Cui Moli, a wealthy heiress, ran away before her wedding. Halfway there, her car stalled in the wilderness, with no one around.
She had no choice but to walk through the woods to look for help.
Unfortunately, she fell into a trap. Worse still, she went into heat.
Just as she thought all hope was lost, a tall woman rescued her.
The woman carried a hunting rifle. She was quiet, her eyes detached, and she effortlessly swept Cui Moli into her arms.
The Alpha's pheromones instantly overwhelmed her senses, stirring the Omega's feelings.
But the woman remained unmoved. She calmly treated Cui Moli's injuries and tossed her a suppressant.
Cui Moli stared at the Alpha-only suppressant, at a loss for words.
To solve her immediate predicament, the heiress set aside her pride and spent an absurd night with an Alpha.
Bonus scene:
In the heiress's mansion, Li Enluo pinned Cui Moli against the door. The Omega's eyes glimmered as she pleaded over and over, "Mmm... gently. Mom and the others are outside."
Author's note for Chapter One
Eleven-year age gap, 29 x 18
Blurb written on 2025.8.6
Theme: The simple, ordinary life is the real thing.
I think the first part was quite good. After arriving at Star City, the plot was too fast. It was completely different from the previous one. Suddenly, I went on stage to perform and had to reorganize the band. There were many parts in the middle that I watched in confusion, and I felt that a lot of them were covered in one stroke. At first, I was quite looking forward to this aspect of the plot between Luo and the band. . . What I wrote later was too hasty. At first, Jasmine only planned to have a short relationship with Luo, and she emphasized this several times. Now that they are together, why has she changed her mind? I even suspected that I missed something. It felt like I skipped a dozen chapters. He also said that one or two chapters would be finished. I felt that the second half of the plot was very rushed and quite fragmented compared to the previous part. ?
Meow [three-flowered cat head] Ah, but when it comes to girl rock bands, the first thing that comes to mind is the girl bands in recent years... Girl bands are right!
Grandma, the author, why do you write so beautifully? 😈
You can stop updating for a while. It feels a bit rushed now that it's finished.
😭 😭 I quite like watching this kind of thing
Teacher, please pay attention to your health. Why do you feel like you are almost done? You are pregnant, you are meeting your parents for marriage, etc.
A very novel article
Overall, it's quite interesting. The character creation is quite stable, the small interactions are very interesting, such as walking around and some dialogues are very cute, and the world view is quite unique.
It's quite dreamy and calm.
I really like this theme. It would be nice if it was longer. I hope the author has time to write a 100-chapter extra.
