Put the Classmate at the Next Desk in the Fridge

[Flirtatious and aloof x pure and harmless]

My deskmate went from being an unnoticed nobody to a dazzling top student, and finally became my little dog.

[Academy Rule-Breaking Tale 1: If an ordinary, unremarkable classmate suddenly becomes dazzling, do not try to observe her, approach her, or question her.]

Hmm, the academy has been strange lately, and so have a lot of the students.

Take my deskmate, for example. She used to be silent and never say a word, but suddenly she became cheerful and sunny, and her grades started soaring. For a while, she was the talk of the school.

A month later, I saw my deskmate hanging in the classroom.

I took her home, then carefully put her in the refrigerator. I didn't want to see my deskmate rot.

My deskmate wasn't dead. She told me someone had murdered her, and that she wanted to reset and get revenge. She thanked me.

I said she didn't need to thank me. I said I hoped she would stay with me. I said I wasn't asking.
