I was the villainous cannon fodder in a book: secretly in love with the heroine, bullying the male lead, and doing every wicked thing imaginable. Then my family went bankrupt overnight, my dad jumped off a building, and my mom died of illness. I ended up working as a drinking companion at a club, still refusing to repent. After I offended the male lead, a young master recently reunited with his wealthy family, I became the club's top attraction, slept with countless people, and was eventually drugged and died of an overdose, delirious with pleasure.
Luckily, I awakened to my fate ahead of time.
But unfortunately, my family had already gone bankrupt.
Dressed in the black-and-white uniform issued by the club, I walked into the male lead's private room.
As expected of the male lead, he was sharp-eyed and full of disdain, seeing straight through my wicked intentions.
I grinned at him and walked closer, then passed him by and sat on his uncle's lap. Under the man's cold, vicious gaze, I gazed up at him with dewy eyes and trembling lashes, then kissed him.
The male lead's uncle was the vicious antagonist in the book, but in truth, he was just a lovesick fool. He willingly gave more than half his shares to the heroine, who promptly handed them to the male lead. The male lead then joined forces with the other branches of the family to frame the antagonist and drive him out of the company. On the way home, the antagonist got into a car accident and was left paralyzed from the waist down. His caregiver abused him, and he met a miserable end.
I was a villainous cannon fodder who did whatever pleased me without a shred of logic or a single boundary. After awakening, I realized the vicious antagonist and I were simply made for each other.
The antagonist wanted love, so I would love him with all my heart, as long as he willingly transferred his shares to me. Then I could make a comeback, trample the male lead underfoot, and keep him down forever!
The antagonist could also avoid his tragic ending. Even if the car accident couldn't be prevented, I could find him a responsible caregiver and make sure he wasn't abused to death.
The antagonist took the bait easily. He really must be starved for love, but that's fine. A villainous cannon fodder will do anything for personal gain, including giving him fake love. Everyone says the antagonist is cruel and vicious, but he seems pretty ordinary to me.
Wait, maybe I spoke too soon.
The photos and life-size custom doll secretly stashed in the antagonist's basement were supposed to be of the heroine. Why were they of me?
"Baby's found my secret. What should I do?"
The antagonist's eyes were impossible to hide: sticky, obsessive infatuation, and a forceful presence closing in on me step by step.
!!!
So I was the one in the antagonist's grasp all along.
