After a Mermaid Scammed Me on a Deserted Island

Jiang Chao was thrown into the sea. He thought he was going to die, but when he woke up, he was on a deserted island.

A mermaid, a man, covered in glittering ornaments and wearing a pink hair clip, came walking out of the sea and said he was Jiang Chao's partner because they'd kissed.

Jiang Chao: ...

-

The ocean stretched endlessly in every direction, and the deserted island had nothing on it. Jiang Chao could only fend for himself and try not to freeze or starve to death before help arrived.

One day, two days, half a month, three months...

The ocean remained calm, and not a single ship passed by the island.

Jiang Chao sat among the pile of rare treasures the handsome merman had given him, utterly despairing.

He looked at the handsome merman, who kept calling him his partner, and gave up trying to resist. "Do you even know what 'partner' means?"

The handsome merman proved through his actions that not only did he know, he was a natural at it.

Jiang Chao was rescued.

Mermaids can't leave the ocean, but humans can't live without society either.

Jiang Chao left the island with a pearl and a scale.
