A novella.
Substitute bottom x arrogant top
Blurb:
Jiang Zhongyu found a substitute for the person he loved.
The substitute was good in every way: easy to coax, easy to fool, and very obedient. His only flaw was his ugly eyes.
Jiang Zhongyu hated his eyes and warned him, "Whenever I'm looking, you are not allowed to show me either of your eyes."
Later...
The tables turned fast.
Jiang Zhongyu happened to catch the substitute looking at a cat, and his eyes were as beautiful as the stars.
Only then did he realize that perhaps the problem wasn't the eyes, but him. He was so unlikeable that the other man wouldn't give him those starry eyes.
That night,
Jiang Zhongyu gazed into the substitute's eyes and confessed passionately, "I've seen the brightest, most dazzling star in your eyes."
Reader advisory:
The bottom's eyes aren't actually ugly.
The top will show off like a peacock later on.
The top and bottom don't end up together.
Theme: Everyone deserves to be loved.
