Cupid, Stick to the Black Moonlight Script

Incubators are a species that specializes in making contracts with magical girls.

You are a newly hired Incubator, but unlike the others...

Your project is magical boys.

Simply put, you make contracts with age-appropriate males and collect the immense energy produced when they fall from hope into utter despair, thereby saving the world.

The world you have been sent to is crawling with demons and ghosts. Every household cherishes the relatively peaceful daylight hours and goes outside to enjoy them, but you notice one house whose curtains remain tightly closed even at noon.

You leap onto the windowsill and use your tail to pull open the thick, pitch-black curtains.

No sunlight reaches this room. Only the faint glow of candles illuminates the scene. A group of trembling servants kneel around the room, while a pale, beautiful black-haired boy sits on the bed in the center, idly turning an exquisite teacup in his hand.

The blood he coughs up stains the corner of his mouth, making him look all the more uncanny.

He's clearly on death's door. You swish your tail and greet him. "Nice to meet you. I'm an Incubator. If you make a contract with me, I can even grant your wish for immortality."

He casually hurls his teacup at a servant nearby, then looks at you with a malicious, twisted smile. "Fine. I don't care what you are. But if you can't save me, I'll kill you."

The contract goes smoothly, and you give him a new body.

He tries to get out of bed in his new body and freezes when he realizes he is no longer coughing up blood.

"See? I never lie..." You tilt your head, but before you can finish, he grabs you in a tight embrace.

His arms tighten around you, like a venomous spider constricting its web around its prey, or a sinner desperately clutching a strand of silk to climb upward. Then he whispers in your ear...

"Incubator, keep saving me."

"Or I'll kill you."

That was your first meeting with the Demon King, Muzan.

You are an Incubator. You never lie.

But you have concealed three facts:

1. Even if you die, you have backup bodies.

2. The body you gave him is indeed immortal, but it ages endlessly at a hundred times the normal rate.

3. He isn't your only contractor. You can make contracts with any male, whether demon, ghost, or monster, and your list of contractors keeps growing. For example, the Upper and Lower Ranks, Naraku, the Shikon Jewel, Juanzi, the King of Curses... (Feel free to nominate villains from all sorts of series.)
