One Arm Around Yuta, the Other Around Rika

After hearing the rumor that his classmate Okkotsu Yuta could curse people, transfer student Takada Taiyo thought: That sounds so cool. I absolutely have to be friends with him. So Takada Taiyo, completely oblivious to the atmosphere, went right up to Okkotsu Yuta. "Can we be friends?" "...Don't come near me," Okkotsu Yuta replied instinctively, startled. Because he crossed the safety line, Rika, the gigantic, grotesquely twisted cursed spirit, swiped at Takada Taiyo with one claw. "I can't see it, but I can definitely feel the cold. Is this your curse? That's amazing." Maybe ignorance really was bliss. Okkotsu Yuta saw Takada Taiyo's eyes shining as he said it. Then, one second before the little boy was struck, he felt around and wrapped his arms around Rika. Even as blood splattered around him, the bloodied boy never let go of Rika "I want to be friends with Okkotsu, and that includes your curse." The story begins with Takada Taiyo getting swiped by Rika and sent to the hospital. Reader's guide: 1. A healing story about friendship. 2.
