Su Shili was born beautiful, gentle, and well-mannered, the kind of child adults point to as an example. But his luck was terrible. He suffered from countless ailments, both big and small. His parents took him to every hospital they could find, but no one had a solution. Doctors could only say that he was born frail. The fortune-tellers they invited over just shook their heads and said his fate was too weak.
Fortunately, despite all the close calls, Su Shili grew up safely.
Unfortunately, whenever the college entrance exams drew near, he would fall ill and be bedridden. After repeating the year, he ended up doing his final year of high school twice. On his third try, he thought that surely the third time would be the charm and he'd finally graduate. Then an infinite game descended upon Rongcheng No. 7 High School.
The school was drenched in red light. The teachers lost their minds, turning into game NPCs with sinister smiles. The once-bustling campus had become a massive slaughterhouse.
His bad-luck debuff was still active. When the game descended, a binding bracelet appeared on the players' wrists, binding him tightly to an underclassman who had always disliked him.
Su Shili turned to look. His underclassman was staring at him with a half-smile, looking like a gentleman who planned to get his revenge even if it took ten years.
Su Shili: ...

Zhu Xunyu thought Rongcheng No. 7 High School was cursed, and Su Shili had been his nemesis since birth. On his first day at school, he heard all about the famous senior Su Shili. Before he could even meet him properly, he got caught climbing over the wall to sneak in late.
Senior Su wore a red armband and stood by the wall, smiling as he looked up from a little notebook. Zhu Xunyu didn't want to see his name on the notice board the very next day, so he politely begged for mercy. The senior was easygoing, his peach-blossom eyes curving as he gently said, "Sure."
Zhu Xunyu's heart fluttered, but the next moment, he saw his name on the notice board.
His young love was nipped in the bud.
Throughout his first year, Su Shili caught him every time he was late, and Zhu Xunyu ground his teeth in frustration. In his second year, Senior Su Shili, who should have graduated, was still at school. Zhu Xunyu thought at least he was living in the dorms that semester, but then Senior Su joined the discipline committee. No uniform, points deducted. Messy clothes, points deducted. Coming back late, points deducted...
By the time Zhu Xunyu was in his third year, Su Shili still hadn't graduated. Instead, he became Zhu's classmate. Zhu thought that at least Senior Su wouldn't be his senior anymore. Then the horror game descended, and the two of them were bound together.
At first, Zhu Xunyu thought heaven had finally answered his prayers. After two whole years, he finally had a chance to get revenge. How long could this sickly weakling possibly survive in a game? Wouldn't he have to beg Zhu to protect him? Just as Zhu Xunyu was congratulating himself, a cold female voice rang across the school: "If your bound partner dies, you die too."
Zhu Xunyu: ...
Bonus scene:
It wasn't until they actually entered the game that Zhu Xunyu realized Su Shili really was born to be his nemesis! He couldn't run, couldn't lift anything, and couldn't handle being scared. At least he was fairly smart. To save his own skin, Zhu Xunyu had no choice but to carry him, help him with everything, and cover his ears whenever evil spirits appeared!
But Su Shili had far more problems than he expected. It was bad enough that he fell sick every few days! His eyes gave him trouble, too!
Zhu Xunyu watched helplessly as Su Shili ran toward an evil spirit, murmuring, "Xunyu, where are you?"
Furious, Zhu Xunyu yanked him back. "Where the hell are you going? I'm right here!"
A bloody, horrifying infinite-flow world full of chaotic antics
