You don't need to have read the first story to understand this one.

All four characters wear women's clothing. No one is a woman disguised as a man, and all pairings are versatile.

The naive and sweet Yunzhou falls in love with Commandery Princess Jin at first sight. After learning she is renowned for her literary talent, Yunzhou asks her older sister, Yun Yang, to write a love letter on her behalf. While delivering the letter, Yunzhou runs into Wan and asks her to pass it along. Wan refuses, so Yunzhou offers to bring her and her older sister together. Wan agrees to deliver the letter, and as she spends time with Yunzhou, she falls for her. Though she wishes them well, when Yunzhou is feeling discouraged, Wan takes advantage of the moment to confess her feelings, tricking Yunzhou into dating her because of her looks. Yun Yang tries to interfere and break them up. Jin, wanting her older sister to be happy, counters Yun Yang's every move. After Wan and Yunzhou marry, Jin and Yun Yang grow close. Commandery Princess Jin has everything under control, but deep down she still has reservations. Yun Yang seems passive on the surface but makes subtle advances behind the scenes. In the end, they become a couple too.
