The Interstellar Federation’s Number One Mecha Pilot

Other people transmigrate: slap their enemies in the face, make a comeback, and reach the pinnacle of life.

Yun Kai transmigrates: spaceship explodes, bugs on a desolate planet, a disastrous start from the get-go.

Looking at the wreckage of the spaceship, torn apart by bugs,

Yun Kai thinks she can still be saved. Even if she's going to die, she wants to die in one piece.

After being rescued, Yun Kai is settled on Star System 91. With no money and no legal status, she's got every disadvantage stacked against her, and she can barely afford to eat.

Yun Kai, heir to a martial arts family, a go-anywhere, fight-anyone, fully automatic troublemaking machine who gives everyone headaches, goes back to her old line of work: fighting in competitions.

The interstellar world reveres the strong, and Yun Kai thrives. She becomes unbeatable across Star System 91.

Yun Kai sets her sights on becoming the strongest in the interstellar world. She enrolls in military school to reach that goal, but before she can show what she's made of, she becomes famous for being illiterate.

At the military school's entrance exam, Yun Kai scores zero in interstellar history and full marks in Earth history, setting off a storm of controversy across the StarNet.

[This has to be fake... How could someone who got full marks in Earth history score zero in interstellar history?]

[Publicity stunt! It has to be a publicity stunt! The last person to get full marks in Earth history was the last person!]

Yun Kai, the illiterate one: "..."

*

Before a major tournament begins, the entire StarNet is watching live.

[It's really gone downhill. Other military schools have nothing but 3S students, but this one has an illiterate kid, a useless F-rank in physical ability, a disabled student, a delinquent who can't focus, and the only one who looks any good is from the countryside.]

[Not a single one of them can fight. Can't wait for this school to drop out of the top ten.]

[The top ten military schools need a reshuffle.]

But in the military school league, this school doesn't just stay in the top ten. It fights its way into the top three!

During one competition, the Zerg attack halfway through the match. The arena falls, and all contact with the outside world is lost. Just as everyone outside believes that none of this year's military students will survive...

In full view of everyone, Yun Kai pilots the Marshal's mecha and cuts straight through the Zerg, carving out a path to safety for the others.

Everyone knows that the Marshal's mecha was the first symbiotic mecha since the New Star Era began, as well as the first super-3S mecha. Only someone with super-3S mental strength can pilot it. After the Marshal's death, no one else was able to pilot it.

The whole internet erupts.
