Rekindled romance
Five years ago, the records at a Song Dynasty kiln site captured Pei Yu's finest moment:
"Excavator: Pei Yu"
But the real highlight was the next line:
"Restorer: Mei Shiyu"
Pei Yu took a photo and kept it as his phone wallpaper for five years.
Five years later, their names appeared on the same project roster again.
The project director saw him looking as if he were facing a formidable enemy. "Xiao Pei, this batch of national treasures is all in your and Engineer Mei's hands. Make sure you work closely together!"
Pei Yu: "...Could I work closely with someone else?"
At the kickoff meeting, Mei Shiyu glanced his way. Polite and professional. She clearly hadn't recognized that the black-haired monkey was the ex she'd broken up with three years ago.
Pei Yu, meanwhile, watched the handsome mixed-race guy beside her kiss her on the cheek and immediately decided they had to work closely together.
Archaeology takes keen instincts and the ability to create order out of chaos. Restoring cultural relics demands the utmost patience, turning the rotten into something miraculous.
Yellow sand, cave-ins, artifacts... and "concerned citizens" who came out of nowhere hoping to loot relics for free. Each one ratchets up the pressure.
Then one night, Pei Yu saw with his own eyes the mixed-race guy he'd thought was his rival kissing another man passionately.
Pei Yu: ?
"Mei Shiyu, you can work miracles and restore a cracked vase. Do we have a chance to fix what I ruined between us back then?"
Theme: You can't have both your youth and the feeling of being young
This character is so good, why doesn't the teacher continue writing?
I want to read this book. It looks very good.
Such a fragrant character [Three-Flowered Cat Head][Three-Flowered Cat Head] I really found a treasure
