Rivals Blush Red When They Meet

What should you do if you get thrown into a battle royale game with your nemesis? Obviously, take every chance you get to screw him over.

But when Li Shan realizes the other guy excels in every area, both academic and athletic, and might not even be human, he suddenly feels he doesn't deserve to die after all.

The whole of Yudong No. 1 High School has been swallowed up by the Gate of Death, and the students have been thrown into various battle royale games. No one can stop the slaughter. Li Shan's only talent is studying, yet he draws a skill card that lets him trade physical strength for luck. His friend Kong Youli is a student athlete, but draws a card that lets him trade math problems for luck. Li Shan suspects someone has rigged things against them.

To make matters worse, he runs into his archrival, Jie Yu. Jie Yu has been the kind of kid everyone else's parents point to since childhood, and even all the girls Li Shan has had crushes on have openly loved Jie Yu. He's so infuriating that just thinking about him makes Li Shan grind his teeth. But in the battle royale, Li Shan realizes he may have misunderstood Jie Yu. He's actually a gentle, considerate boy who never fights for attention.

Li Shan is confused. Li Shan blushes.

Then Jie Yu suddenly turns his head 360 degrees and gives him a shy, bashful smile.

Turns out this nemesis really is his nemesis.
