Forbidden Longing

Jiang Zhuo, a nobody on the fringes of the entertainment industry and a workaholic with big ambitions, gets an invitation from a famous screenwriter to join the filming of the movie Rebellion. He is cast as one half of a gay couple opposite Gan Xuye, an actor who's been nominated for Best Actor for what feels like forever.

Jiang Zhuo: Breathe.

Gan Xuye: He's got impure thoughts about me.

Jiang Zhuo: I've got impure thoughts about money.

Let's fight our way back to the top in style.

The male lead starts out as a painfully straight guy, but ends up winning himself over and turning himself gay.

The other lead is often left speechless with exasperation at him, and later takes advantage of him.

Theme: Getting into character and stepping out of it.
