So one day, Lan Jiu turns into a kitten and pretends to be injured in front of Fang Chen on his way home.
The kitten lies pitifully on the ground, looking up at Fang Chen with watery eyes.

So Fang Chen takes him home.

Fang Chen has a secret: he's been in love with his friend's younger brother for a long time.
The younger brother is named Lan Jiu, and he only recently presented as an Omega.
They're a match made in heaven.
One day, on his way home, he comes across a silly little kitten.
It's raining, but instead of taking shelter under the eaves, the kitten keeps wandering in the road.
The kitten's eyes look just like Lan Jiu's, the same light brown color. It's tiny, and looks utterly miserable in the rain.
Looking into those eyes, Fang Chen's heart softens. He gets out of the car and picks the kitten up, bringing it inside.
He names the kitten Jiujiu.
The first time he calls out "Jiujiu," the kitten tilts its little head, blinks, and gives a tiny meow: "Meow~"

After one of Lan Jiu's heats, Fang Chen smiles and gently rests his hand on Lan Jiu's stomach. "Jiujiu, how about having a baby for me?"
Lan Jiu nestles lazily in Fang Chen's arms and suddenly asks, "What do you think a human and a cat could have?"
Fang Chen presses his teeth against Lan Jiu's gland. "Why don't we find out?"
