Lin Xi, an overworked office worker from the twenty-first century, wakes up as a high school student in the 1990s. Her deskmate is Lu Zeyan, who will one day sweep all three major film awards as an actor.
Armed with spoilers from the script, Lin Xi immediately decides to make the most of this opportunity and get ahead from the start. Every day, she brings him lunch, practically wanting to carve "Future award-winning actor, please protect me" into her forehead.
But the future star falls for her first. On the day of the college entrance exam, young Lu Zeyan confesses at the graduation party: "I... I like you."

At long last, she makes it back to the present. She catches a glimpse of her actor husband on TV, then runs straight into him at the graduate school entrance exam.
After he becomes famous, scandals dog him, and a variety show tries to manufacture a celebrity pairing. The actor storms onto the set and declares, "She's my wife!"
