Tang Dian, a poor student in her final year of high school, stays up all night studying to escape her family's pig farm, only to transmigrate into a monk on the Journey to the West! She plans to keep her head down until the pilgrimage ends, then coast along doing nothing, but ends up bound to a "Troublemaking System."
She dresses as a village girl to trick Wukong into accepting her as his master, wins Bajie over with braised pork, and earns Sha Seng's unwavering devotion with her looks. The three disciples are completely wrapped around her little finger. While others make the pilgrimage to attain enlightenment, she makes trouble and earns worshippers' offerings: stealing bandits' gold, mouthing off to the Heavenly Court's old officials, and challenging Buddha himself. Even the young attendants sent by Guanyin are left stunned by her madcap antics!
Tang Dian proves through sheer ability: What could beat causing trouble on the pilgrimage? After all, who could resist a "beautiful, protective, and tough (not really)" big-sister master? This Journey to the West is all about "going wild and living freely!"
Theme: Let's applaud the childhood idols!
