A Happy Reunion

It's been so long since I last wrote. I'm back again!

In life, we keep meeting and parting from different people. No one knows where things will lead after a meeting, just as we can't always control where life takes us. Sometimes we may even feel that life is unbearable, that we have no support and are utterly alone. Then one day, we meet someone, and the love we've been waiting for appears. The presence of that love makes the troubles before us seem far smaller than everything we've been through. Just because we love someone, we can endure anything. The skies don't necessarily clear all at once, but life still becomes beautiful.

Only after writing all that did I realize it sounds a lot like "Meeting Again."

A gripe: What the heck is a character profile?

Theme: Life may not go smoothly, but it may not be too difficult either. It is simply a slow, steady stream. With each stroke of our oars, it becomes a river that flows away into the past, never to return, while stretching endlessly wide ahead of us. The things worth cheering for are the turning points that lead us toward happiness, the ones we manage to hold on to: those meetings, those reunions, those hands clasped together.
