True to her word, Lin Zhao, who knew the original story inside out, decided to give Jane's plot a complete makeover.

Lowood? A governess? Running away for love? No, no, and no!

A good school? Go! Good friends? Make them! A good uncle? Head straight to Madeira to meet him and get an education in business!

Ten years flowed by like water. Seated in the spacious estate of the newly titled Jane Eyre, Lin Zhao felt deeply gratified, waiting for her happiness to be tallied and to return home.

Unexpectedly, a clap of thunder sounded, and everyone screamed at her appearance.

Lin Zhao: ? Wait, wasn't the reward supposed to be going home? I don't want to become a person here!

She turned to explain to Jane that it had only been an accident, but instead met a pair of eyes brimming with warmth and tears.

"Please keep staying by my side, all right?"

That night, as usual, the two of them talked under the covers.

But the mood seemed a little unusual.

Only when a soft body pressed her onto the bed, their skin touching and the temperature rising, did Lin Zhao finally realize:

Wait, isn't something wrong with how this is going?

[Jane's perspective]

When Jane was ten, a ghost entered her life. The girl, visible only to her, promised to bring her happiness.

Her life really did change after the girl arrived.

She met kind people, gained a wealth of knowledge, reunited with her family, set foot in distant lands, and discovered a vast world. Eventually, as her career flourished, her name became famous.

The ghost laughed at every step of her growth.

As happiness within the reach of ordinary people drew near, Jane came to harbor an extremely bold question.

"If I wanted to kiss her,

would she accept it with a smile too?"

[Reader's Guide]

1. They switch roles, and both are virgins. The main CP has a happy ending!

2. The story does not follow the original plot, which has been substantially changed. Some original characters will appear later and their roles have been rewritten.

3. The butterfly effect means Jane's personality will differ somewhat.

4. Lin Zhao's physical age will stop changing until everyone can see her. The story's "ghost" premise is unconventional, and her transmigration into a book golden finger is weak from the start but will develop over time. The reason will be revealed later, so please be aware that the early chapters may feel unusual.

5. The early story focuses on raising a child and changing her fate through plot events. The romance comes later. Neither the characters nor the author has an lt inclination!

6. The point of view varies, but focuses mainly on Jane and Lin Zhao.
