The shou was adopted by a wealthy family, who raised him only so he could marry in place of his older brother to the gong, who was rumored to have a certain condition.
It was said that medication could suppress the hormones until he came of age. Once he reached adulthood, his hormone levels would peak, and continuing to take medication could be dangerous. The best solution was to find someone to ease his condition.
On the night he turned eighteen, the shou was sent to the gong's home, without so much as a proper title or explanation.
Having long grown used to being ignored, the shou decided to make the best of it. Wherever they gave him money, he would call home.
If the gong needed to sleep with him to treat his illness, then the shou would take the initiative.
Besides, the gong was so handsome that the shou wasn't losing out.
The gong watched coldly as the shou and his family put on their act, and saw the shou, clumsy and sly, try every trick he could think of to get into his bed.
He was sick, but not so desperate that he needed someone like that to treat him.
One day, after injecting twice his usual dose through his fingertip, the gong collapsed to the floor, convulsing. When he came to, he found himself held in someone's arms.
"They say injecting it like this is really bad for your body." The shou cradled his hand, looking at the countless pinpricks on his fingertip. His small face was full of concern. "Does it hurt?"
The gong narrowed his eyes, thinking that this little green tea was putting on another act.
The shou opened his mouth. His warm tongue curled over the gong's cold fingertip, then he pursed his lips and looked up at him. "Does this make it feel a little better?"
The hand he'd wanted to pull away suddenly felt as heavy as a thousand pounds.

The gong changed his mind.
Since the shou was so eager to help treat his illness, he couldn't keep dampening his spirits.
On the first day of being treated by the shou, the gong looked coldly at him. "That's it?"
On the third day, the gong sat on the bed, irritably waiting for the shou to finish his homework. He decided he'd teach him how to do it tomorrow.
On the tenth day, the gong threw all his medication into the trash. What kind of miserable life had he been living before?
But the treatment came with a serious side effect: the gong found himself getting more and more addicted. If the shou came home even a little late, he couldn't focus on anything and only wanted to go look for him.
One day, the shou was going on a spring outing and invited the gong along. The gong, of course, refused.
Before leaving that morning, the shou held on to the gong's hand and wouldn't let go.
He knew the gong couldn't do without him for his treatment. The gong had actually agreed to let him spend the night away this time, which made him feel both touched and excited. Before leaving, he coyly asked, "Then will you give me a kiss?"
The gong pressed his lips to the shou's, his face cold and reluctant.
The shou's eyes curved into a smile. "Be good and wait for me to come home."
The gong waited until the next evening, only to hear that the shou had gone missing.
In the first month after the shou disappeared, the gong searched the entire city, but couldn't find a trace of him.
By the sixth month, the gong was repeatedly sinking into guilt and regret, wondering if things might have turned out differently if he'd gone along that day.
In the third year after the shou disappeared, the gong pressed a hand against the faded, mottled photo booth picture they'd taken together and gritted his teeth as he thought:
If the shou came back, he'd kill him.

The shou woke up to find that he was living inside a book that was still being serialized.
Just as the story was about to end, the author suddenly went crazy and wrote him to death, forcing him back into the real world.
The shou tried everything he could to return, only to find that three years had passed.
A lot had changed.
The boy who used to have a cold expression but a warm hand when he held the shou's had grown into a cold, ruthless man.
The gong pinned the shou to the ground and gripped his chin tightly, his blood-red eyes full of violence. "You made me wait three years, five days, and sixteen hours. Aren't you afraid I'll kill you?"
Later...
The shou ate ice cream as he put a foot on the gong's chest. "Didn't you say you were going to kill me?"
The gong coldly rubbed the shou's foot warm and tucked it against his chest. "I can do it in bed, can't I?"
The gong really is sick, and the shou is a natural-born green tea. They're mutually in love, and they'll love each other forever ^_^
