His Glory

After suffering two devastating defeats at the world championship, he finally won the title. During the post-match interview, the attacker was asked by a reporter and said there were two people he needed to thank for his victory.

One was his current support, who had helped him change his playstyle and brought the whole team closer together.

And the other...

Was the random support player who had duo-queued with him day and night during the month he doubted himself and wanted to quit, after he was eliminated in the first round of sixteen.

Without that person, he might have given up one late night more than a year ago.

As he spoke, the little support standing beside him smiled, his eyes curving and a pair of adorable little tiger teeth showing.

The shy eyes he had seen when they first met now shone with dazzling warmth.

Later, he went with the support, now his boyfriend, to his hometown for the New Year. While the little support napped from exhaustion, he casually opened the old computer on the desk and saw a familiar ID that had been quietly sitting on his friends list for ages.

So it was true: someone had crossed mountains and seas just to reach your side.

The main story is from the receiver's point of view: a lovestruck receiver who never lets himself suffer in silence, paired with an utterly devoted, protective attacker.
