Can a Little Evil Dragon Have a Beautiful Bride?

Wu Jiao is the last little dragon from a family of evil dragons. He somehow ends up stranded in human society, where he’s hungry and cold every day, whining miserably from hunger.

One day, he accidentally learns his ancestors’ “secret to getting rich”:

Just open a sacrificial portal, and loyal followers will offer up countless delicacies and riches with both hands. They’ll even choose the most beautiful bride in their clan to present to their supreme Dragon Lord.

Wu Jiao is so envious that he starts drooling.

Following the instructions in an ancient book, he summons a sacrificial portal.

Fortunately, even though thousands of years have passed, the evil dragon’s loyal followers are still around!

They offer “Lord Dragon” delicious pastries, tasty juice, warm bedding, brand-new clothes, the latest smartphone, limited-edition cartoon figurines...

They can even tutor “Lord Dragon” remotely while he does his homework!

Wu Jiao is so moved that he starts crying: His followers are so devout.

Then, one day, a tall, handsome man steps through the sacrificial portal and stands before him.

Wu Jiao: ?

Are his followers a little too devout?

He hasn’t even said a word, so why have they started offering up a bride??

Gong’s point of view.

Li Shaoyuan is the sole heir to the wealthy Li family, elegant and refined, with an air of nobility.

Few people know he is actually descended from demons.

One day, Li Shaoyuan discovers that someone has activated a sacrificial ritual to summon a demon and make a deal with one.

The ancient magic circle radiates an evil aura. From the other end comes a timid voice.

[I-I’m the Dragon Lord you worship! I’m not dead yet! I need some... delicious little pastries. Please offer them to me, right now. Thank you.]

Li Shaoyuan: ?

Li Shaoyuan: Send 50 yuan, and I’ll get you pastries.

Two minutes later, a crumpled note is tossed over. On it, someone has handwritten “50 yuan.”

[This Lord really doesn’t have any money. I’ll owe you for now... I’ll pay you back someday!!]

Signed with a little dragon claw.

Li Shaoyuan: “...”

He gave him delicious little pastries.

Later, he gave him lots of other things, too.

One day, Li Shaoyuan hears that the sole descendant of the dragon clan is about to marry some big shot.

That big shot isn’t him.

“...”

Holding a thick stack of IOUs, Li Shaoyuan tears through the portal and appears before a certain deadbeat.

“Are you... my bride?” the other asks, looking utterly innocent.

Li Shaoyuan curls his lips into a perfect demonic smile.

“Yeah, I am,” he says.

Demons never make a deal at a loss.

Now it’s time for him to collect his payment.
