My next book is titled "I Ran Away With His Baby on Purpose", a nontraditional run-away-with-the-baby story.
[Gentle Mom with Off-the-Charts Fighting Skills x Dad Who Acts Tough but Has a Soft Heart]
Zhong Wan and Chu Qinghuai are a loving married couple. Honest, hardworking, and diligent, they finally made the great leap from poverty to prosperity through their own efforts.
But lately, one bizarre thing after another has made it seem like they might be right back where they started.
First, a little girl suddenly called them Mom and Dad while they were out buying groceries. Then they somehow picked up a child while out for a walk and brought her home. Finally, one day, Zhong Wan headed out to work and found a baby sitting on the ground outside their door, knocking and calling, “Open up! It’s me!”
Zhong Wan and Chu Qinghuai silently agreed that nothing could be more surreal than being forced to raise other people’s children.
But when they saw three extra kids in their already cramped home, they were excited, yet couldn’t help worrying: Uh-oh, we’re going to get even poorer.
Something even more shocking than finding three strange kids happened.
Zhong Wan and Chu Qinghuai were open-minded parents, and didn’t take the children’s little squabbles too seriously, so their home was in chaos every day.
“Don’t fight, okay? Can’t you all be good?” Zhong Wan was used to playing peacemaker. She said the right things while getting on with her work, then suddenly sensed something was off. It was far too quiet. She turned around, and the scene in front of her nearly made her faint.
Where had all these messy flower petals come from, and why was a little bok choy slowly rolling toward her feet?
She watched as her eldest daughter frantically covered the green leaves sprouting from her head, while crouching down to pick up, one by one, the lotus petals her younger sister had dropped out of thin air.
Zhong Wan: I’m losing it. Our rental has turned into a circus.
Zhong Wan and Chu Qinghuai had no choice but to accept that the three children they’d found weren’t human. They still cared for the little ones with great tenderness and kindly helped them look for their “real parents.”
By chance, someone maliciously arranged paternity tests between Chu Qinghuai and the three children. They expected it to turn into a joke, but the final result stunned everyone:
[Parent-child relationship confirmed]
Holding the report, Zhong Wan gave Chu Qinghuai a meaningful look. His eyes widened. “I didn’t cheat! Don’t get the wrong idea!”
“I’m not,” Zhong Wan said with a bright smile. “I just want to know: are you an orange spirit, a bok choy spirit, or a lotus spirit?”
P.S. The male and female leads are ordinary humans, but the three little ones really aren’t.

My next book, "I Ran Away With His Baby on Purpose"
Qin Yi is young and wealthy. Having lost both her parents as a child, she longs to have a biological child of her own, but doesn’t want to get married.
Zhou Yucheng is the man she carefully chose to provide half the child’s genes: respectable, highly educated, and handsome. She’s heard he’s cold and aloof, and that no one can get into his heart.
Yeah, right. What a poser. She has to admit, this man has successfully awakened her desire to conquer him.
To get close to Zhou Yucheng and secure his genes, Qin Yi stages an elaborate act. She pretends to be a victim, plays the helpless damsel, and after a tremendous effort finally gets him into bed.
The day he falls for her is the day her script reaches its finale. On a dark and windy night, Qin Yi prepares to run away with his baby. Before leaving, she even puts on one last act, pretending to be heartbroken: “You were seeing another woman behind my back! We’re over!”
Once outside the villa, she throws away everything Zhou Yucheng bought for her, then gets into a black Maybach and dreams of the wonderful life she and her baby will have together.

Zhou Yucheng spent two years consumed by guilt. He never got over Qin Yi, but no matter what he did, he couldn’t find her.
By chance, he went to L City on a business trip and ran into Qin Yi at a shopping mall, out shopping with her daughter. Her glamorous appearance made it clear she was doing well. She even had a child now...
But the next moment, the heartbroken Zhou Yucheng saw the baby’s face and froze. His expression was complicated, with a hint of anger. He rushed over, doing his best to stay polite, but when he spoke, he was gritting his teeth, tears glimmering in his eyes. “Qin Yi, I’ve been looking for you for so long.”
Qin Yi didn’t panic. Instead, she struck first and called him a scumbag. “Why did it take you so long to find us! You have no idea how hard life has been for me and the baby, sob...”
Zhou Yucheng glanced at the limited-edition handbag she was hiding behind her and gave a cold laugh. I really let you lead me around by the nose.
[Drama Queen Mom x Taciturn Dad]
P.S. There are no other women. The male lead is completely faithful. All my stories are one-on-one romances with a single, exclusive pairing.
