I Found My Parents at the Market

Zhu Guo was an apple tree that had gained intelligence, but even after two hundred years, she still hadn't blossomed or borne fruit. Her short trunk only had bare leaves, and she was troubled and dejected.

An older elf sister came up with a clever plan: turn into a toddler, go down the mountain, and find a pair of parents. She'd heard humans spoiled their children and raised their babies to be tall and strong.

Zhu Guo was thrilled. "Really? Where? I'll go find them!"

She couldn't wait to start bearing fruit.

Chen Lizi froze. By the time she came to her senses, the child was already hugging her.

Wu Jiu came downstairs and saw his wife holding a child awkwardly. He blurted out in disbelief, "Even if I asked for a divorce, you can't steal someone else's kid! That's against the law!"

A few days later, when they got the paternity test report for Chen Lizi and Zhu Guo, the result read "supports a parent-child relationship." Wu Jiu's expression turned complicated. He felt like he'd been cuckolded.
