Xi Jia was a devoted fan of the farming game Boundless Land. One day, he woke up to discover he could travel freely between the game and the real world.
The thought of living in the game's huge villa and cuddling the fluffy animals he'd raised made Xi Jia giddy with excitement.
He couldn't wait to enter the game world, but this version of Boundless Land seemed a little strange.
"Ding! The System has detected that mutated creatures have invaded Boundless Land!"

Xi Jia was on the verge of a breakdown. "Why did you come all the way to my house?!"
Liang Shige's gaze grew dangerous. "Darling, I couldn't wait for you to come home, so I had to come pick you up myself."

After awakening unexpectedly, Liang Shige discovered that the world he lived in was a game called Boundless Land, and that he was just an NPC.
But Liang Shige believed that both he and his world were real. To fight off the mutated creatures, he needed to find someone from the "real world" to help him.
It didn't take long for Liang Shige to set his sights on Xi Jia, a "player."
He knew Xi Jia was a programmer. Since his own world was a game, perhaps a programmer could help them fight off their enemies.
Liang Shige bound Xi Jia to him through marriage, and Xi Jia lived up to his expectations, giving them cheats to use.
Still, whenever Liang Shige saw Xi Jia's face flush when they held hands, or his heart race when they kissed, he felt like he was betraying Xi Jia's sincere feelings.
Wanting to make it up to him, Liang Shige tried to take their relationship further, but Xi Jia logged off in terror and disappeared.
