She had just finished a D-rank mission and was dragging her tired body past a trash can when she spotted a beautiful woman huddled in a corner against the wall. She was gorgeous.

Her face was obscured by a mix of dirt and blood, so Fei Si couldn't really make out her features, but she remembered the mole at the corner of her eye.

Well, she took her home anyway. What could she do? She was a sucker for pretty faces -_-

Taking care of a defective meant another expense for repair fluid.

Her already modest life was made even harder. On top of that, the woman had lost her memory and remembered nothing. Fei Si even had to give her a name.

She should have taken her to the police station or a defective reclamation center, but...

What could she do? She was a sucker for pretty faces -_- She could only take on more jobs and willingly keep her.

Content warnings:

1. The setting is a nuclear-pollution apocalypse. Repair fluid is the equivalent of nutritional fluid and lets them survive in a nuclear-contaminated world. For some reason (no spoilers), Nyx loses all her memories and divine power, has her body modified, and becomes a defective (think of a failed robot; this will be explained in the story. The setting uses a Nyx concept, so it falls under Greek mythology, Greek series).

Nyx (loyal-dog younger top) × Fei Si (cute and aloof older bottom)

Both are badass Alpha women. In essence, they're switch, with plenty of fight scenes ovo

2. This is the only book in the trilogy that isn't about winning someone over or transmigrating into a book. It consists of separate short arcs.

3. The top will be very dependent on the bottom early on, like a little puppy trying to win her affection. The bottom falls for the top at first sight (she's a sucker for pretty faces -_- Can't be helped; even her creator can't do anything about it). The author isn't good at writing slow-burn feelings. If you like someone, you like them ovo

4. This is a self-indulgent story. The writing isn't great, and it's plain, simple prose, so don't expect too much from me.
