Rule Horror: I Have a VIP Pass

Chen Ke goes abroad for a company team-building trip and unexpectedly gets caught up in a horror game.

Huh? Even paranormal horror stories are copying ordinary games now? They give her an S-rank golden finger from the start, letting her summon the heroine from her own story to clear stages. But where are the instructions...

"The instructions? I'll teach you." Zhao Shen, the dungeon boss, smiles gently.

Chen Ke sucks in a sharp breath. Is this really a dungeon? The boss, Zhao Shen, is broad-shouldered, narrow-waisted, and unbelievably handsome.

But at Zhao Shen's words, she looks at the terrifying monsters around them, all too scared to raise their heads. Is this dungeon boss really so "approachable"?

But do the instructions have to be this intimate? Hugs and all that are way too much!

The rules say: You must not touch the monsters. Chen Ke ponders this in confusion.

"I'm not bound by this dungeon's rules," says Zhao Shen, noticing her confusion and answering her question.

She's realized Zhao Shen isn't bound by the rules. They say the hotel is a rest area for players, where monsters can't enter. Yet she sees Zhao Shen here, and somehow he's become a player.

"The next dungeon is [The Underworld King Takes a Bride]. Want to come with me?"

Looking at the olive branch Zhao Shen offers, Chen Ke cautiously probes: Can she refuse?

Zhao Shen smiles. "You tell me!"

She knew refusing a monster was impossible. But clearing a dungeon together would be one thing. Why do they have to share a room?

"The rules state: Guests attending the ceremony must take one of two routes, yin or yang. The host family values the balance of yin and yang, so one yin and one yang must share a bed."

Zhao Shen raises an eyebrow. "Don't tell me you don't want me, and would rather have something else?"

Chen Ke immediately clings to his leg. "I want you!"
