She Said She Would

In fairy tales, dragons steal jewels and kidnap princesses, only to be defeated by knights in the end. But everything was different for Olina.

Because of human greed, the princess of the demon dragon race was forcibly brought to this world and made to beg on street corners in human society for ten years.

Everyone called her a stupid dragon, said she was useless, and cursed her as an evil dragon.

Every time, she obediently lowered her head and said softly, "I'll be good."

Until one day, a knight dropped a ruby into her chipped bowl.

He bent down and asked, "How can a mighty demon dragon not even have one precious jewel?"

Three days later, the king and the archmage summoned a new "Holy Dragon."

Olina stood on the castle balcony, lowering her eyes to hide her smile.

Someone had brought her home. Now she could do whatever she wanted.
