The Protagonist Is Head over Heels for Me

Ji Yunshu transmigrates into a book as the vicious male supporting character who shares his name and surname, and who tormented the young male lead so badly that he developed a hidden illness and multiple personalities.

To save his life, he drops to his knees on the spot, putting on the act of a lovesick man to placate the young male lead.

"I treated you that way before because I loved you too much and wanted your attention. I promise that from now on, I'll devote myself to treating you well and never let you suffer the slightest injustice again."

He does exactly as he promised, raising the young male lead from a frail, 165-centimeter boy into a tall, strapping 190-centimeter... handsome man. Even the prime minister, his father, ends up at his beck and call.

When the emperor orders the male lead killed, he pretends to agree, then risks his life to send him back to his homeland.

When he's imprisoned, the emperor asks him why. He sticks to the persona he's maintained all along: "I love him, so of course I want his future to be bright and full of promise."

He thinks he's won the male lead over, but less than a month later, the other man returns at the head of a mighty army, vowing to raze Northern Liang and wash away the humiliation of the past in blood.

Ji Yunshu is so angry he spits blood, cursing under his breath: That ungrateful little brat! I've been acting for all these years, and it was all for nothing.

As he's cursing, an imperial edict ordering a political marriage arrives at the prime minister's residence.

"By the Mandate of Heaven, the emperor decrees: Princess Ji Yunshu of Northern Liang is virtuous, gentle, and graceful. She is hereby granted as the principal wife of the Crown Prince of Jin. The six wedding rites shall be performed on an auspicious date."

Ji Yunshu: ?!?!?

"Princess?"

Is that little brat... taking revenge on him?
