Those Years with You

At seventeen, Su Hui wasted eight years of his youth over one vague remark from his first love.

For eight years, he loved that man without regret, convinced that the man loved him too.

Then, after a friend's joking attempt to sound him out, he began to suspect that the man he had loved for five years might have fallen for his best friend. In his friend's chat history, he saw the man scheming to deny their relationship.

That was when Su Hui finally gave up, deciding to let go of the man he had loved for eight years.

But just as he was about to move on, the man appeared again, saying suggestive things to him.

This was what he said: "I suddenly realized that maybe personality is really important too."

The implication was clear. His friend was handsome but took things too far, while Su Hui was plain-looking but had a personality that appealed to him more.

For the first time, Su Hui found the man disgusting and repulsive. He decided to cut him out of his life for good.

After his first love ended so badly, Su Hui shut his heart away and stopped believing that he would ever find love again.

Until that person appeared.

Sheng Jingci was ten years older than him, yet cared for and looked after him in every way, making his heart stir once more.
