And so, undercover investigator Hiromitsu Morofushi became Investigator Hiromitsu Morofushi, while the self-proclaimed "Dice Maiden" Ivy was the one who told him when he needed to make a check. A check is simply rolling dice and comparing the result to your stat. As long as the roll is lower than your stat, you pass.
Different rolls mean different degrees of success. And rolls of 1-3 are critical successes, while 98-100 are fumbles. In either case, unexpected things will happen.
