In short, Zhu Fu Jingguang was reborn.

But he wasn't the only one.

And so the undercover investigator Zhu Fu Jingguang became investigator Zhu Fu Jingguang, while the self-proclaimed "dice girl" Ivy told him when he needed to make a check. A check was really just rolling dice and comparing the result against your stat. As long as the result was lower than your stat, the check succeeded.

Different stat values meant different degrees of success. A roll of 1-3 was a critical success, while 98-100 was a critical failure. Either way, something unexpected would happen.

With these rules in place, legendary investigator Zhu Fu Jingguang began his adventures in the Detective Conan world.

[Guys, who gets it? The Detective Conan world has its own rules, and not even a dog could make it through a check here. Without Cthulhu, can Call of Cthulhu even be called Call of Cthulhu?! How can you become a legendary investigator without proper CoC?!]

Zhu Fu Jingguang heard Ivy wailing like this. He didn't understand what CoC was or know anything about Cthulhu, but that didn't affect his undercover mission, nor the checks he had to make.

And so Zhu Fu Jingguang set out to save his classmates, defeat the Black Organization, become a legendary investigator, and reach the pinnacle of life!

[You plan to stop the criminal from pressing the bomb detonator. What will you use to do it?]

Zhu Fu Jingguang, or rather, Scotland, pulled out his revolver and aimed at the criminal's wrist.

[Scotland, you not only shot the criminal's hand, you also shot clean through the controller without damaging anything else. It's completely broken now! There's no way to reactivate the bomb!]

The next day, the organization was already gossiping about how you and Bourbon were starring in a "he runs, she chases, and he can't escape" romance.
