[Prince of Tennis] The Peach Blossom Immortal

In the Peach Blossom Ravine stands a Peach Blossom Hermitage, and beneath it lives a Peach Blossom Immortal. The Peach Blossom Immortal plants peach trees, then picks their blossoms to sell for wine. When sober, he sits among the flowers; when drunk, he sleeps beneath them. Half-awake and half-drunk, day after day; flowers fall and bloom, year after year. I would rather grow old and die among flowers and wine than bow and scrape before carriages and horses. The dust of carriages and the hooves of horses are the rich man's pleasures; wine cups and flowering branches are the poor man's lot. Compare the rich with the poor, and one stands on level ground while the other stands in heaven. Compare poverty with a life of carriages and horses: the rich must hurry about, while I am free to rest. Others laugh at me for being mad. I laugh at them for failing to see the truth. Have they not seen the tombs of the heroes of the Five Mausoleums? Now, without flowers or wine, they hoe the fields. He had only ever wanted to live a quiet life, but the other man insisted on barging into it. By the time he finally came to his senses, neither of them could let go.
