After the Honest True Young Master Turns Dark

Xiang Ning knew he was beautiful and thought highly of himself.

He was the fake young master of the Xiang family, accidentally switched at birth. Once the truth came out, the real young master was brought home. Rather than kick Xiang Ning out, the Xiang family treated him even better than before.

Spoiled beyond reason, Xiang Ning became as haughty as a peacock.

Then one day, Xiang Ning suddenly awakened to the truth: he was the villainous foil in a book.

He was vicious, foolish, and greedy. In the end, he picked a fight with the real young master and brought his own downfall, drowning after the real young master's followers threw him into the sea.

When Xiang Ning woke up, he looked at the real young master, who was quiet and plain and barely seemed to exist in the family, and gave him a look of disdain. Him?

But he still worried that he really would be thrown into the sea and drowned one day.

So he decided to seduce the real young master and win him over.

He knew exactly what his strengths were.

Sure enough, it didn't take long for the real young master to fall for him, unable to resist him and completely consumed by love.

Xiang Ning found him even more tiresome.

Why would such an utterly unremarkable, honest person be the protagonist of a face-slapping power fantasy?

Xiang Ning wasn't one to settle down. He couldn't stand spending every day with the real young master, doing nothing but studying and leading a dull, boring life. He went out to hang around with a group of friends who were no good.

His friends thought he'd had a change of heart and asked how things had been going with the real young master lately.

Xiang Ning said disdainfully, "Him?"

But he failed to notice the figure quietly watching him from the shadows.

From that day on, the real young master began to turn dark.
