Meow Says No, Meow Politely Declines

Ming Jing is a silly little cat. He may be a cat, but like a puppy, he just won't go away.

Everyone at Qingyun laughs at this puppy-cat. He's stupid and foolish, and repays kindness with betrayal.

They laugh at how he can't see clearly or understand the truth, hopelessly and obsessively clinging to Lingxiao Sword's Ying Buran.

How could a lofty, untouchable beauty ever stoop to a common cat?

The puppy-cat doesn't understand. The puppy-cat is silly and slow. The puppy-cat only knows to give the thing he loves most to the person he loves most.

But Ming Jing's favorite thing, just like him, is disliked by everyone and worthless.

With white silk covering his face, the kitten can't see Ying Buran's eyes. Will he still cry for me like he used to?

He doesn't want me anymore, so I won't cling to him either!

The puppy-cat fakes his death.

The puppy-cat runs far away.

The puppy-cat finds a new owner!

His new owner is so wonderful. He brushes Ming Jing's fur, catches little fireflies for him, and gets drunk with him among the flowers... He's a little too fond of biting cats, and a little wicked, but otherwise, he's just wonderful!

Ming Jing beams with delight. I'm a little cat who has someone to love me, too.

But why has Ying Buran, the peerless prodigy who should be sitting high above in the clouds, come looking for him? His eyes are bloodshot, like a ghost crawling out of the Abyss of Nightmares.

"Come back with me, Ming Jing!"

The kitten panics, meowing in his new owner's arms.

Worse still, why does the face beneath Ying Buran's white silk look exactly like his new owner's?!

P.S.

1. This is a groveling romance.

2. The lofty beauty goes mad with love.

Theme: Love should be spoken aloud.
