Reborn with a Bad Ending Script in Hand

At twenty-six, Wen Yan witnessed the horrific car crash that left Tao Qian, a popular idol, lying in a pool of blood. The shock made his vision go black. When he opened his eyes again, he had returned to the star-studded night of a year earlier.

June 15, 2017: the grand finale of a talent competition.

Tao Qian debuts as the undisputed center, full of confidence and with a brilliant future ahead.

His close friend Han Baibai is still alive, navigating the world of fame and fortune like a proud peacock. He is only on nodding terms with Su Che, the company's top young star.

And Cheng Chuanshan, the up-and-coming director who will one day become entangled with his fate, is still just a stranger's name.

Fate has given Wen Yan a second chance. With the future's "bad ending" script in hand, he resolves to save his friends and defy fate, moving carefully, one step at a time.

But is changing fate really that easy?

When familiar signs of tragedy appear again, and the fire in Huanshan Village reignites alongside long-buried secrets, Wen Yan realizes in despair that all his efforts may be in vain.

Almighty God, I have three wishes:

First, may no one ever be abducted again, and may buyers be punished as severely as sellers.

Second, may everyone enjoy health, free of illness and disaster.

Third, may all who love each other find their happy ending.

Notes:

* A devoted, tender-hearted screenwriter bottom x a deep-hearted, steadfast director top.

* Both are reborn. Plot-focused, with a touch of ensemble cast.

* Main couple has a happy ending; there is a secondary couple with a tragic ending.
