The Unremarkable Little Taoist Nun of the Nineties

Zhao Xiaoying accidentally transmigrates into an old-fashioned period novel as a disposable passerby. To change her fate of dying young, she accidentally takes a Taoist priest as her master.

The priest is over ninety. He brings Zhao Xiaoying into his sect, then passes away, leaving her and her seven senior disciples to rely on one another.

Zhao Xiaoying looks at her six little-kid senior brothers and starts hoping that the eldest senior brother, who only appears in legends, will come back soon...

But before she can see him, a natural disaster arrives instead.

Food is scarce, and her parasitic parents refuse to leave.

Her little-kid senior brothers grow gaunt with hunger to save food.

Zhao Xiaoying decides to look for food in the hills behind the village, but unexpectedly saves a red... dragon?

At last, the eldest senior brother returns, and Zhao Xiaoying discovers that this guy looks a lot like the turtle from a wishing pond!
