At the end of the world was a place of blinding brightness, split by the two diagonals connecting the vertices of a square. Everything was magnificent and distorted, surging and contracting, while time flowed almost to a standstill. The moment Song opened his eyes, he found himself standing on the track closest to the core. Looking toward the edge, he saw countless indistinct human figures appearing densely along the tracks, but only he had clear features, a complete body, and the ability to think.
No, he wasn't the only one.
He saw someone on the track directly opposite him, just as clear, with a complete appearance and body, though their features were hard to make out in the blinding light.
Space suddenly collapsed. He and countless shadows became weightless and plunged downward, dragged toward a dense point. Before he fell, he thought he saw a glimmer of blue.
This is a rather literary novel, so if that's not your thing, please steer clear.
The protagonist travels through countless fragments of time and space. Each fragment is set in a beautiful place: one moment, he's in the misty rain of Jiangnan, and the next, he's standing in the snow, watching the aurora. There's no specific plot logic. It's simply about the couple's interactions in different settings and taking in the beautiful scenery.
A powerful couple, nonhuman characters, happy ending. They have no reason for it, but the moment they see each other, they just know they were born for one another, a destined couple made for each other.
A gentle, irreverent, looks-obsessed, love-struck dog-type top? A cool, naturally spacey, easily flustered, beautiful-but-tragic rabbit-type bottom.
Notice:
1. This story has a complete worldbuilding system, but it's rather complex. After both books in the main series are finished, I'll publish a separate book explaining the worldbuilding.
2. Don't insult my OCs. Insult me instead. I wrote them all, so it's all my fault.
3. There will be lots of descriptions of people's appearances.
4. No breaking up the pairing, no switching roles, no crack ships, and no reader-insert fantasies. With a setup like this, isn't doing that a little bizarre?
5. Handsome top, beautiful bottom. Handsome top, beautiful bottom. Handsome top, beautiful bottom. He's not a pretty top, so don't push that interpretation.
Theme: The most exquisite beauty in the world, and the purest love.
