Then Bai Song woke up with his memories rewound to when he was eighteen, not even knowing that they had been together for years. Lin Ling felt heartbroken, angry, and upset. He wanted to turn and leave, but was too worried about Bai Song. Faced with Bai Song's questions, he answered coldly, "Childhood friends. What else would we be?"

After they got home, Lin Ling put on a stern face and said he wanted to move into the school dorm and live alone. But Bai Song caught him. Lin Ling was just about to turn and leave without a care when Bai Song, panicking and trying to stop him, failed. In his desperation, he dropped straight to his knees.

Lin Ling never expected him to pull a stunt like that. His beautiful eyes widened. Bai Song clutched Lin Ling's wrist as if he were a big dog who had done something wrong and was being driven away by his owner.
